What does it mean when it says “Your session has expired.”?
Pop-up killer software prevents pop-up windows from opening on your screen. It is intended to prevent unsolicited ads from “popping up” on your screen while you use the Internet. The Academic Coaching program operates using ad-free pop-up windows. If your pop-up killer software is enabled, it will prevent the program from working properly, so you will need to disable the pop-up killer software.
All pop-up killer software is different. If you do not know how to disable yours, please contact the Internet Help Desk at (858) 292-3626 for support.

What is the difference between Highspeed and Dialup?
Highspeed and Dialup refer to the speed of the Internet connection you are viewing the program from. If your computer uses a telephone line to dial into the Internet, select Dialup to view modules with videos that are smaller in file size and easily downloaded. If you are accessing the Internet via DSL, Cable Modem, or a T1 line, select Highspeed to view modules with videos that are larger in size.
Why doesn’t anything happen when I click Highspeed or Dialup?
After clicking Highspeed or Dialup, the module should open in a new window. If nothing happens, you may have pop-up killer software installed on your computer. Although pop-up killer software is intended to reduce the number of unsolicited ads while on the Internet, it can also prevent certain programs from working properly. To successfully view this product, disable your pop-up killer.
To view videos, you must have Flash Player installed. To download the free plug-in, click Flash Player in the Site Requirements section of the home page.
All of the videos are enhanced with audio. While viewing the product, if you are using computer speakers, make sure the speakers are plugged into the correct port, there is a live power source, the speakers are turned on, and that the volume is turned up.

What does it mean when it says “Your session has expired.”?
The program is designed to stay active for one hour, at which time it “times out.” This helps protect your username and password from illicit users. To continue viewing the program when this happens, close the small browser window. Then, in the main browser window, click the address bar and hit Return or Enter on your keyboard. Enter your username and password, and select Login. From there, you may re-select the module you would like to view.
